Finding a tailor with style and experience is most im-portant. He will guide you through the selection and fitting process and he will also help you achieve the look and fit that is right for you.

Allow me to introduce and give you a little background on our tailor.

Frank Blaeser, our Master Tailor and the president of Townline Tailors Inc., has been in the clothing industry for over 57 years.



Frank was born and raised in Recklinghausen, Germany where he received a degree in Design & Engineering.

He imigrated to Canada in 1953, residing in Calgary, Alberta.

In 1954 he moved to Dawson Creek, BC where he opened his first tailor shop, which he ran for the next
6 years.

His business was a hugh success but, being an entre-preneur at heart, he yearned for more.

In 1960 Frank moved to Vancouver where he attained a prominent position designing clothing for Drapshire Clothes, where he remained for 22 years.

From there his business sense and savvy led him to embark on several endevours.

In particular, he ran various clothing manufacturing companies such as Avon Park, Gordon Campbell, and Orbis Manufacturing and also worked on a consulting basis for numerous other local businesses.

For 2 years he taught evening classes for the Designing Arts Program, at the Vancouver Community College.

In 1986 Frank returned to his passion and opened Townline Tailors Inc., in a downtown shop on Granville Street.

By 1991 his business warranted a larger facilty and he moved his company over to its present day location on Howe Street.

In 2000 he opened in a second location; an alteration facility inside The Bay store, downtown Vancouver.

This brings us to where we are today. Frank has become a renowned and most distinguished tailor.

With his exceptional flair, he turned his clientelle into loyal repeat customers and... through his talent, hard work & dedication, Townline Tailors has emerged into one of today's most prestigious tailoring establish- ments.
